2004年，美國費城的saxon shore面臨散團危機，原本兄弟檔的團員，開車揚長而去。（應該有排氣管噴煙，兩兄弟一人含淚，一人罵幹、搥韓德路的感人畫面吧）

留下創始團員Matt Doty，然後........找到別的團員和一連串的波折（組過團的都知道，這種事情全世界都一樣）

後來Dave Fridmann（聽起來很Metal），來幫他們製作2005的專輯The exquisite death of saxo shore

這個製作人製作過LOW，FLIMMING LIPS，Phatom Plant和SIGUR ROS

是一張他們錄音品質和製作概念最完整的專輯，非常好聽。

要芭樂，要飆淚，要像天炮一樣炸到體無完膚，要氣質，都有。
